About Us
Founded by brothers William and Elijah Brigham, Holyoke Ag is rooted in a lifelong passion for farming and haying. Growing up on tractors and among the livestock of Holyoke Farm, farming, haying, and dairying is in our blood. Established in 1804, this family-owned farm, located in St. Albans, Vermont, has been passed down for generations. As proud Vermonters, we are dedicated to maintaining the rich legacy of our farm, which has remained family-owned and operated since its inception.
At Holyoke Ag, quality is our top priority. As a small, family-run business, we take pride in the care and attention to detail that goes into each step of hay-making. Every harvest, we strive to deliver the finest quality hay to our customers, whether you’re a local farmer, equestrian enthusiast, or animal lover.

Superior Quality Hay for Your Animals
We prioritize customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality, small square bales of hay that provide high feed value guaranteed to keep you and your animals happy.
Our hay is all certified organic, this means that we use no pesticides, herbicide, or synthetic petroleum based fertilizers.
Fields are regularly fertilized with manure and compost to maximize feed value.
Always baled and stored dry, ensuring mold-free hay.
Bales are produced with an in-line square baler, resulting in more consistent size, shape, and weight.
Baler density is set to yield a 50lb bale, giving you more hay for your money while still being relatively easy to handle.
Hay is cut without conditioning and laid flat, preserving leaf retention.
Wind rows are created with a rotary rake, preventing ground contact and minimizing ash content and debris in the hay.
Unfit hay is repurposed as mulch rather than being included as feed bales.
